Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to AnimeCanvas.art ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you use our website.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: If you sign in (for example with Google or email credentials), we store account details needed for authentication, such as name, email, and profile image when provided by the provider.
• Favorites & site usage data: If you use favorites or similar features while logged in, we store those preferences in our database.
• Contact messages: If you email us, we receive whatever you send (typically your email address and message content).
• Technical data: Our hosting and CDN providers may process IP address, browser type, device info, and request logs as part of delivering the site and images.
• Advertising data: Our advertising partners (see Section 3) may collect cookie identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, and information about the pages you view in order to show, measure and limit ads.
• Cookies & similar technologies: See Section 3 and our Cookie Policy.

3. Advertising, Cookies & Google AdSense

AnimeCanvas.art is free to use and is supported by advertising. We use essential cookies/storage for core features (session, theme, cookie notice) and advertising technologies from third parties to show ads.

Google AdSense

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses to collect information as a result of ad serving on our site.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• To learn how Google uses data when you use our site, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: we use a consent management platform certified by Google to ask for your consent before ad cookies or similar identifiers are used for ad personalization and measurement. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy settings message on the site, or by clearing this site's cookies and storage so the message appears again. If you do not consent, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

Adsterra

We also show banner ads and optional support links from Adsterra. Adsterra and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. See the Adsterra Privacy Policy for details and opt-out options, or visit www.aboutads.info.

You can also manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies may change which ads you see, and some site features may not work without essential cookies. We do not currently run Google Analytics or Ezoic on AnimeCanvas.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third parties to operate AnimeCanvas:

• Hosting / CDN: Site hosting (e.g. Netlify) and image delivery via Cloudinary.
• Database: Wallpaper and account-related data stored in our MongoDB database.
• Authentication: Google sign-in and/or credentials via NextAuth when you create or use an account.
• Advertising: Google AdSense and Adsterra for display ads that help keep the site free.

These providers process data under their own terms. We only share what is needed to run the service (for example serving an image URL or showing an ad). We do not sell your personal information.

5. Our Wallpapers & Content

Wallpapers on AnimeCanvas are AI-generated and curated by us. We do not scrape or re-upload other people's wallpaper files. Anime characters, names, and franchises remain the property of their respective copyright owners; our images are fan-made AI creations inspired by anime culture. See our DMCA Policy if you are a rights holder.
